EDuke32 is based upon and consists a large amount of JFDuke3D, a modern source port of Duke Nukem 3D created by JonoF. Among many other things, JFDuke3D contains 32-bit support (Duke 3D was originally 16-bit), modern sound support, cross-platform support for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and more, and the Polymost renderer by Ken Silverman.
