Chapter One : Knee Deep in Duke

The UAC have been know to house many secret military weapons, even suspected of possessing inter-dimensional portal technology that can transport anything from earth to mars within an instant. For this reason, their facilities have the highest security imaginable and they have received almost unlimited funding to advance their research. Although the dimensional gateways have been giving the UAC scientists a lot of trouble in stabilizing the portal, few successful attempts have been made. One of which successfully linked to what seemed to be an alien world, whose smoldering temporations and fiery lava pools made it inhospitable to humans.
Duke Nukem, the hero who saved the ass of Earth million times, is now retired, since he fought for years after years, he needs some R&R too, right? No, Duke Nukem, is again called for help. But this time, who calls him? Let's guess who? UAC!!! "What the hell?", says Duke. He adds "Go clean your own mess, idiots. It's your damn crap, go fix it on your own, now leave me alone!" The end of the call... Duke thinks... Why would they call me while there is DoomGuy to save their ass? Hmm... This might be my chance to be popular amongst the Doom Universe!!! Let's see what is going to happen now... Duke calls UAC again, says "I'll help you clean your mess, but I want something from you to do for me. I want the DoomGuy after I clean your mess, alive, I want to talk to him, personally.", UAC responds, "We will do what you want, just help!!! A big f!!!ing Spider is destroying our base!!!"... end of the call.
 
It was thought that this world was just a desolate place where no life existed, until one day a team discovered a large citadel like structure with grusome carvings. The place was guarded by many indigenous creatures, whose razor sharp claws and the strange natural ability to hardness plasma-masses intrigued the scientists. Many were captured, and although they were strong, were usually no match for the firearms employed by the UAC marines sent there.
 
In time, the UAC constructed another gateway on this world, drawing its power from the large geothermal hotspot it rested on. The gate was to be open 24/7 to allow free passage of supplies, marines, and science members to further study this temple of sorts. Much of the temple was explored and it was later dubbed the "Abyssal Lair" for it's hellish architecture.
 
Everything went well and many samples of various life forms were captured and in-depth study revealed that many of the creatures posed almost human intelligence. Others exited in a semi-material/energy state that fascinated the science teams. The Research have gone so smoothly that a second gate was built; this time on the UAC Martian outpost. Everything went well, until one day, the invasion began.
 
It was just past 9:00 am, you a Veteran of the UAC marine-corps made your way to the check-in outpost for your usual assignments. Then the calls came in, stating that an attack by hostile creatures in the Martian outposts. Immediate military assistance was requested. The UAC couldn't afford to lose their Martian outpost, not matter how crazy this sounded. A large contingent of marines and medical officers were gathered and prepared in front of the earth-side gate for dispatch to mars. They were everything was going to be fine, until the gateway opened and a swarm of creatures from the alter-world rushed in. Although the UAC were well trained, their numbers were far out matched by these "demons" and were forced to pull back. More marines were called in, but it was then a giant cybertized creature, which resembled a large brain bellowed through the gate. With it giant machine-cannon, it ripped all the unsuspected marines to bloody ribbons. It was followed by creatures never seen by the science team. Some that set fire to the defenseless medical officers from what seemed to be thin air, while others possessed the dead bodies of the fallen UAC marines and used them like dolls.
 
All Hell broke lose in the gateway control as each fallen marine was taken over by spirits of unknown origins and began attacking former fellow employees. The invasion ripped through the Gateway control, then the Fusion reactor facility, and finally to the outlining facilities as well. It seemed that the UAC command center was lost. A Military quarantine was issued and no one was in or out of the place. Anything that moved got a face full of lead; human or not.
 
You, unfortunately, were stuck in check-in station. You can't go out, so you have no choice but to fend for yourself with whatever you would find. You grab the 9mm pistol from the dead officer next to you and made your way up some steps and one of the fallen outposts.  


You fight for survival has begun.
But, what is that Spider thing? What will happen to Duke? Why did Duke call Doomguy? What's going on? Does Dule have Spiderphobia? You'll learn the answer of these when you play, HELL DUKE TC!

Description of HellDuke

HellDuke TC! is a Total Conversion for Eduke32. It will have 6 episodes each will have their own story and place. The TC have many additions to the normal game such as weapon selection sounds, new enemies, new sounds, various new effects, some new weapons and Alternate Fire system.

As an addition, my TC also has a Score System. The player will gain score points by killing enemies or grabbing the treasures he finds.
