The BUILD engine is a first-person shooter engine created by Ken Silverman for 3D Realms.

Games

Note: Each game contains its own unique "game code", so one game can have certain features and another may not. An example would be the CON files (scripts) that were only used in Duke Nukem 3D and the games based on its game code, or the CD audio in Shadow Warrior and Blood.

Editor

BUILD can also refer to the name of the level editor used by the developers and provided with some of the games. Its modern form is Mapster32.
